Tigers Place 3rd
The Tigers took place in the best early season tournament in The Battle for Atlantis. The Tigers got out to a good start defeating a very tough Stanford Cardinal team 78-70. With the win against the Cardinals the Tigers moved on to the semi-final game against Louisville. Louisville is another Cardinal team that is much more talented than the Stanford Cardinal but they are ranked #2 in the nation. The Tigers struggled to shot the ball along with a career high 10 turnovers for Phil Pressey and ended up losing by 23 points. So the Tigers were placed in the third place game against VCU on Friday the 23rd. Throughout the game the Tigers went on small spurts but the Cardinals kept coming back and just wouldn't go away. But the Tigers eventually won the game 68-65 with two clutch shots by Junior guard Phil Pressey. The Tigers next game is against Appalachian State on Saturday December 1st.

Mizzou Baseball
Mizzou baseball is fresh off their Big 12 Tournament win and is jumping into the SEC. The tigers have received a lot of criticism about not being able to compete with the power houses of the SEC but have showed a glimmer of hope with the #24 recruiting according to Baseball America. With the #24 recruiting class the tigers are just 12th in the SEC that just shows just how competitive the SEC is in Baseball.
